E-commerce is certainly diverse and means different things to different people. To some, it’s less about technology and more about people. To others, the element of trust – or the lack of it – is key. Yet others see it defined by entrepreneurship, and the freedom to do business without being in the same place as their customers, or even the same time zone.

So there might be no single defining characteristic that makes e-commerce what it is. Below are some different definitions that are our views towards different aspects of this rapid-growing industry.

For us, e-commerce equates to convenience. For buyers this means finding products quickly, purchasing through a simple checkout and receiving the goods where and when they want them

The early days of e-commerce were filled with distrust. But today, people distrust companies that are not online

E-commerce represents such an incredible opportunity for entrepreneurs to build, launch, and grow a business that can make a difference in their personal lives as well as the world

E-commerce is about the thrill of entrepreneurship and the freedom that comes with it. E-commerce is a serious business, but it’s fun
